Website & Commercial Service Terms

These terms explain the basic rules for using ORLA’s website, submitting commercial facility information, requesting a walkthrough or proposal, purchasing commercial cleaning services under a written agreement, and discussing an adjacent facility service that may involve a third-party provider.

Effective July 31, 2026
Important policy note

An inquiry, call, email, or walkthrough request does not reserve service, confirm a schedule or price, or establish a contract. Binding commercial terms must be confirmed in an accepted written agreement.

01

Acceptance and authority

By using ORLA’s website or submitting a commercial inquiry, you agree to these website terms. A commercial cleaning contract is formed only through a written agreement accepted by authorized parties.

You must be authorized to provide facility information, request a walkthrough, review a proposal, or approve service on behalf of the applicable business or property.

02

Using the website

  • Use the website only for lawful purposes related to ORLA’s commercial services
  • Provide accurate identity, business, facility, access, service, and contact information
  • Do not interfere with website security, availability, forms, content, or other users
  • Do not scrape, copy, resell, reverse engineer, or misuse protected content, data, or internal tools
  • Do not submit payment card data, passwords, alarm codes, confidential records, or unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary inquiry channels
03

Facility inquiries and proposal review

Submitting the short Quote form begins an initial commercial cleaning conversation. ORLA may then ask about the location, facility type, cleanable area, requested frequency, service window, access, safety, current condition, specialist requirements, and desired start date.

Service begins after ORLA and the client confirm the scope, timing, access, responsibilities, safety requirements, and commercial terms in writing.

04

Walkthroughs, proposals, and contracts

A walkthrough helps identify facility zones, tasks, frequencies, floors, washrooms, waste, access, restricted areas, quality expectations, and work outside the proposed scope. It does not itself create a service contract.

A proposal is based on the information available at that time and remains subject to its validity period, assumptions, exclusions, and acceptance requirements. Material changes to the facility, schedule, scope, access, occupancy, traffic, or current condition may require a revised proposal.

The accepted commercial agreement, scope, price, service schedule, payment terms, and any later written revisions govern recurring service.

05

Safe commercial scope and specialist work

ORLA focuses on routine commercial cleaning for accessible areas listed in the written scope. Machinery, production lines, vehicles, tools, oils, grease, chemicals, biohazards, mould, pests, regulated sanitation, remediation, confined spaces, high-access work, and other specialist conditions require separate written planning or an appropriately qualified provider.

ORLA may decline, pause, or stop work when the facility, requested task, person, animal, material, equipment, access condition, or surrounding activity creates an unsafe, unlawful, abusive, threatening, or unreasonable working environment.

06

Facility responsibilities

  • Provide safe, lawful, and timely access according to the accepted agreement
  • Disclose restricted areas, hazards, fragile surfaces, security procedures, cameras, sensitive operations, and product restrictions
  • Keep tools, machinery, chemicals, inventory, confidential documents, valuables, and operational materials secured or clearly identified
  • Provide working utilities and suitable environmental conditions where required for the agreed work
  • Identify an authorized facility contact and escalation path
  • Review scopes, proposals, schedule details, invoices, and requested revisions promptly
07

Results, concerns, and scope changes

ORLA performs the accepted commercial scope with reasonable care. Cleaning cannot guarantee removal of permanent staining, damage, wear, etching, discolouration, odour, construction residue, material defects, or conditions requiring restoration or another specialist.

A quality concern is reviewed against the accepted area, task, frequency, access, and facility condition. Reasonable correction of included missed work does not add new work or expand the accepted scope.

Added rooms, higher occupancy, changed operating hours, new floors, more washrooms, events, construction, consumables, increased frequency, or additional tasks may require a written scope and price revision before the work proceeds.

08

Personnel and direct engagement

ORLA invests in recruiting, screening, onboarding, training, scheduling, and supporting service personnel. Any restriction on directly engaging ORLA personnel should be stated in the applicable commercial agreement and reviewed for legal suitability before reliance.

09

Communications and third-party services

When a business contact provides a phone number or email address, ORLA may communicate about inquiries, walkthroughs, proposals, access, scheduling, service, invoices, quality concerns, or support. Promotional communication is sent only when separately permitted where required.

The website may use or link to third-party hosting, communications, maps, file, accounting, payment, or social services. Those providers operate under their own terms and may change independently of ORLA.

Website photographs and visuals may be representative and do not necessarily show ORLA personnel, an identified client, completed ORLA work, or the exact result available at every facility.

10

Coordinated third-party facility services

ORLA’s primary services are commercial cleaning and janitorial services. For HVAC, specialist window cleaning, landscaping, or another facility service, ORLA can discuss whether a qualified provider may be coordinated. Availability and responsibility are confirmed separately in writing.

Where ORLA helps refer, coordinate, subcontract, or arrange another provider, the applicable written communication or agreement should identify who performs the work and how scope, price, payment, access, insurance, warranty, scheduling, damage, safety, and issue responsibility are allocated. A third-party provider may also require its own terms.

ORLA does not represent that it self-performs, employs, licenses, certifies, warrants, or insures a third-party trade unless that statement is expressly accurate for the specific arrangement.

11

Liability, Ontario law, and contact

Nothing in these terms limits a right or remedy that cannot legally be limited. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ORLA is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from website interruption, third-party services, undisclosed facility conditions, inaccurate information, unauthorized instructions, or work outside the accepted scope.

These website terms are governed by Ontario law and applicable Canadian law. If one provision is not enforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted.
